Look at the White O-Rings - notice they are distorted, bent, not round, not flat.  BOTH O-Rings, the one on the inside of the fuel tank and the one on the outside of the fuel tank, were installed by Macedo Motorsports in the condition you see here. These photos were taken as old Macedo Fuel System Upgrade was being removed from the gas tank and are the exact way they were installed. They did NOT seal the fuel tank as evidenced by gasoline smells being noticed by many people in and around the car when the car was parked. This is part of the $3,500 Macedo Fuel System Upgrade. The stock system never had gasoline smells.

Look at the single pickup pipe Macedo Motorsports used as part of the $3,500 Macedo Fuel System Upgrade. The pickup pipe went to the far right side of the fuel tank where it would not pick up gasoline in a hard right turn. If this was a NASCAR racer that only turned left and not a street driven sports car that may have been acceptable. Also notice the end of the pipe was not deburred and the sharp edges blocks gasoline from entering and also the smaller burrs could break off and clog the fuel filter.

$3,500 Macedo Fuel System has the fuel pump and main fuel line running inches from driveshaft and driveshaft has no safety loop. Photo below that shows Larry Macedo sealed the fuel lines with silver duct tape.
